The Learning Lab Purpose

After conducting multiple hybrid events in 2021 and the beginning of 2022 to test our Commitment to Clean and Connect With Confidence protocols, we are eager to share our learnings. We have designed this interactive, on-site tour for you to explore and learn how to produce a hybrid event ‐ in just 90 minutes. From an on-site testing center and temperature screening area, to redesigned coffee breaks and physically distanced general sessions and breakouts, come explore these new protocols in person. We look forward to sharing this experience with you while continuing to earn your confidence and preparing us all to re-emerge stronger, together.

The Learning Lab Tour

During your journey you'll be guided through a collection of "hybrid event vignettes" by a personal tour guide, physically distanced of course, with short presentations from experts and time for Q&A at each stop. We will host these labs over a few days to provide you with tour times that fit your schedule. Here is a snapshot of your hybrid event journey:

Our goal is to demonstrate that in-person events are possible as many of you are now starting to think about the potential of hosting a hybrid event sometime in 2022. There is always inherent risk in participating in any activity. Due to the circumstances created by COVID19, there is a heightened degree of personal risk and responsibility. Marriott International and its hotels and supplier partners will be taking all legal, prudent and advisable measures to reduce the risk of virus/illness transmission between people while touring these labs. Despite our best efforts, we will be unable to reduce the level of risk to zero.

1) I acknowledge these risks, and others, and agree to take full personal responsibility for them. I will not hold anyone else accountable, including Marriott International, its host hotels and supplier partners, should I contract and illness or should anything else happen to me during my participation in this learning experience.

2) I agree to monitor my own health status and will not attend the learning lab if I am symptomatic in any way or if I believe I have been exposed to someone with COVID19.

3) I understand that all tour participants will be asked to participate in temperature screening before being allowed into the main learning lab areas, wear masks at all times, stay 6+ feet apart from all other participants at all times, follow prescribed wayfinding pathways, refrain from any personal contact, respect the space of other tour participants and follow any and all other additional distancing guidelines and protocols imposed by Marriott International, the host hotel and suppliers regardless of whether federal, state or local laws dictate the use of these practices. These regulations may become more or less strict at any time between now and the tour dates, due to circumstances beyond anyone's control.
